[Investigating] We have received a reports from customers encountering an error when publishing a workflow in APAC region. We are currently investigating the issue that caused the workflow unable to publish.

[Identified] We have identified the cause as an issue in the Microsoft Workflow Manager infrastructure within Office 365 impacting a small subset of customers in the APAC region. We have raised a Sev A ticket with Microsoft support and will update this ticket as more information is available. We recommend customers encountering this issue raise a ticket with Microsoft directly via their Office 365 admin portal.

[Identified] Microsoft have advised that the root cause of the issue has been identified that was resulting in a significant backlog of processing to built up which caused the inability to publish workflows via the Workflow Manager infrastructure within Office 365. The activities that were causing these backlogs to form have been ceased. The MS team are diligently working to process the backlog for customers which can take several hours per tenant to complete. Nintex engineering remain in constant contact with the MS engineering team. Customers experiencing this issue should raise a ticket with Nintex and Microsoft via their Admin Portal

[Monitoring] Microsoft have advised that they have rolling out the fixes and we observed some impacted tenants started to resume back to normal operations. The MS team are diligently working to process the backlog for customers and Nintex engineering remain in constant contact with the MS engineering team. Microsoft has also issued an Advisory notice on this issue (Issue ID: SP738480) and can be track by the impacted tenant. Customers experiencing this issue should raise a ticket with Nintex and Microsoft via their Admin Portal.

Description

Engineers will be performing rolling maintenance on the Nintex O365 Workflow Maintenance for all regions over the coming weeks. During this maintenance window, customers may experience minor delays in opening the designer, during execution and when responding to tasks.
